The terrain and the buildings Willow Springs Way Station are located in Cherain, a part of Gouvy.

As a matter of fact, the correct address is Cherain 24M. Cherain, in the heart of the "high Ardennes" , is the center of a triangle formed by Vielsalm in the north, Houffalize in the southwest and the Grand Dûché de Luxembourg in the southeast.

On top of this, Cherain is the starting point of various hiking- and mountain bike routes ; therefore,

"our place" is the ideal starting point for an alternative exploration of part of the Ardennes.

 

Also history buffs will find Cherain and its surroundings an interesting region to visit since it was the scene of the famous

"Battle of the Bulge" in which more than 400.000 U.S. and German soldiers participated.

Almost any village in this part of the country has its silent witnesses of this massacre. Bastogne ,

with it’s museums and American War Memorial is only a 15 minutes drive away.
